Zwickau's tram system consists (2006) of 5 routes numbered 1, 3, 6, 7 & 8. It is electrified at
660 volts and run on metre gauge (39 inch approx) tracks. Zwickau 927 is a ČKD KT4DC built in 1983 as Plauen 222 and was acquired by Zwickau in 1987. It was modernized by MGB of Mittenwalde in 1993. Zwickau 927 (KT4DC) on route 1 to Eckersbach at the Hauptbahnhof on Monday April 24th, 2006. |
