Zwickau's tram system consists (2002) of 4 routes numbered 3, 6, 7 & 8. It is electrified at
660 volts and run on metre gauge (39 inch approx) tracks.
Zwickau Tram #909 was built by MAN/AEG and is classified GT6M. It is seen outside the Hauptbahnhof on Friday September 20th, 2002 working service #7 to Pölbitz. The DB rail line from Zwickau towards Leipzig was closed between here and Gößnitz using a bus substitution which allowed me to photograph this car. |
