Plauen has 6 metre gauge lines numbered 1-6 and operates a fleet of Tatra
modernized KT4DC trams which were originally built between 1981 & 1988
including some Zwickau second hand units acquired in 1989. 245 was built in 1988 by ČKD (serial number 173020) as Zwickau 954. It was acquired by Plauen in 1989 and was modernized in 1994 and fitted with chopper controls in 1996. Plauen KT4DC 245 outside the Oberer Bahnhof on line 5 on Monday April 24th, 2006. |
