Plauen has 6 metre gauge lines numbered 1-6 and operates a fleet of ČKD
modernized KT4DC trams which were originally built between 1981 & 1988
including some Zwickau second hand units acquired in 1989. 226 was built in 1987 (serial number 177157) and was modernized in 1992 and fitted with chopper controls in 1998. Plauen KT4DC 226 running along Bahnhofstrasse with a number 6 service on Monday April 24th, 2006. |
