Cottbus is a metre gauge system with 4 routes. Tram 135 was originally a
ČKD KT4Dfrom 1986 numbered 35. In 1993 it was modernized to type KT4DM,
in 1997 it was fitted with Thyristor controls and then in 1997 it had a low floor centre section
added which updated it to KTNF6 and the number was changed to 135. It was
heavily damaged in an accident in April 2002 and returned to service in
March 2003 with the driving unit from ex-Berlin KT4DM 9099 (ex KT4 219
099). Cottbus 135 is seen heading east along the Stadtring where it will turn left and head south on Thiemstraße. Photographed on service 4 to Sachsendorf on Friday May 9th, 2003. |
