Chemnitz has 7 standard gauge lines numbered 1,2,4,5,6,11 & 12 and
operates a fleet of Tatra modernized T3D and Bombardier low floor
Variobahn trams. 613 is a Bombardier 6NGT-LDE type 5-section low floor tram built in Bautzen in 2000. It has 6 axles arranged Bo-2-Bo and is powered by 8 40 kW motors for a total rating of 320 kW, 429 hp. Driving controls at one end only and thus doors on one side only. Chemnitz 613 departs from the Hauptbahnhof on line 2 to Bernsdorf on Monday April 24th, 2006. |
