Berlin is a standard gauge system and in 2007 there were 9 MetroTram
routes (M1 to M17) & 22 tram routes numbered 12 to 68. Tram 7089 was built by ČKD in 1987 as a model KT4Dt (fitted with thyristor of chopper controls) and was modernized by Bautzen in the mid 1990s It seats 35 and has standing room for 141.
