Tram 7079 was built by ČKD in 1987 (serial number 177103) as a model KT4Dt (fitted with thyristor of chopper controls) numbered 219 562-1 until 1992 when it was renumbered 9862. It was modernized in 1995 by Bautzen (works number 883/079) and re-classified to KT4Dt-mod and renumbered.
