Berlin is a standard gauge system and in 2007 there were 9 MetroTram
routes (M1 to M17) & 22 tram routes numbered 12 to 68. Tram 6144 was built by ČKD in 1986 (serial number 175850) as a model KT4D (without thyristor control) numbered 219 490-1 (aka 9490) and modernized to class KT4D-mod by Bautzen in 1995 (works number 884/144).
