Berlin is a standard gauge system and in 2007 there were 9 MetroTram
routes (M1 to M17) & 22 tram routes numbered 12 to 68. The 5200 series ČKD T6A2-mod were built in 1990 modernized in the mid 90s by MGB. This is a 4-axle conventional tram powered by 4 45kW motors for a total rating of 180 kW, 241 hp and seats 27 passengers. This tram was built by ČKD in 1991 (serial number 178656) as 218 203-0 (8203) and modernized in 1995 and renumbered 5203. T6A2-mod 5203 on line 37 near Karlshorst S-Bahn station on Tuesday April 24th, 2007. |
