Berlin is a standard gauge system and in 2007 there were 9 MetroTram routes (M1 to M17) & 22 tram routes numbered 12 to 68.
Tram 1045 is a 1999 ADtranz GT6N 3-car articulated vehicle which seats 58 passengers and has a top speed of 75 km/h, 46 mph. This is the second GT6N to carry 1045, the first one was renumbered 1007 in 1997 to replace a heavily damaged tram that was scrapped.
