Krakow has an extensive tram system featuring Polish built trams as well as ex-Nürnberg GT6 trams and ex-Wien E1 types. It is a standard gauge system.

N type trams were built by Konstal between 1949 & 1956. They are 2 axle vehicles rated at 120 kW, 160 hp with a top speed of 55 km/h, 34 mph. They seat 16 passengers.
