Krakow Trams

Krakow has an extensive tram system featuring Polish built trams as well as ex-Nürnberg GT6 trams and ex-Wien E1 types. It is a standard gauge system.

Tram 186 is a MAN built GT6 6-axle articulated vehicle powered by 2 motors each rated at 120 kW for a total rating of 240 kW, 322 hp. They were built between 1962 & 1966 and operated in Nürnberg, DE until the arrival of low floor trams there and were sold to Krakow in the mid 1990s.
