ex-ÖBB 2062 Diesel Shunter. There were originally 65 locos built by
Jenbach for the
ÖBB as well as others for industry plus exports to Russia, Italy,
Luxembourg and Yugoslavia. These locomotives are 4 wheel, diesel
hydraulics rated at 294 kW, 394 hp and this loco has a top speed of 40
km/h, 25 mph painted on the rear. This industrial shunter at Veitsch-Radex AG in Hochfilzen was formerly ÖBB 2062 007-6. It is seen on a rainy Monday September 23rd, 2002, photographed from train SPR1508 on its way to Wörgl. |
