Seen at the end of the line in September, 1977 is Johnstown 311 along with
Porto #64. It was built in 1922 and originally ran in Maine until sold in
1941 to Johnstown, PA where it ran until 1960. At the time of withdrawal
it became the first preserved trolley at Rockhill Furnace.
Car 311 was the last Birney type car to be operated in any United States city on a regular schedule.
