Trailer B4S #1488

Trailer 1488 was built by Flug und Fahrzeugwerke Altenrhein SG (FFA) on a Schindler chassis in May 1972 and modified with a low floor section between March and June 1999. It is an unpowered 4-axle trailer car fitted with a rear coupler and MU cables to haul another trailer. It is classified by the Swiss as B4S and seats 26 passengers compared to 27 in the conventional floor versions.

B4S trailer 1488 is seen working a line 16 service on the over-bridge crossing the tracks at Basel SBB Bahnhof on Saturday April 24th, 2004.
