Bratislava tram system runs on metre gauge tracks and there are 12 routes
numbered between 1 & 14 ( no 10 or 13). All cars in service are Tatras
built by CKD. Many run in pairs and the rear unit is unmanned.
7931 is a Tatra T6A5 built in May 1992 (serial number 179131). Bratislava have 56 units numbered from 7901 to 7956, they seat 30 passengers and are rated at 180 kW, 241 hp with a top speed of 65 km/h, 40 mph. They were built from 1992 to 1997. 7931 has been modified with digital route screens. T6A5 7931 on a westbound 11 service at Americké námestie on Friday October 1st, 2004. |
