Ostrava tram system runs on standard gauge tracks and there are 15 routes
numbered between 1 & 19. All cars in service prior to 1997 were Tatras
built by ČKD when some low floor Škoda Astras were purchased and in 2002
an order was placed with INEKON for their 01 TRIO model. 759 was built by ČKD in Prague as a type T3 which were supplied to Ostrava from 1965 to 1976. 759 was from the 1971 batch. Tatra T3 759 at Dul Hlubina tram stop with a northbound number 2 service on Saturday October 2nd, 2004. |
