Ostrava tram system runs on standard gauge tracks and there are 15 routes
numbered between 1 & 19. All cars in service prior to 1997 were Tatras
built by ČKD when some low floor Škoda Astras were purchased and in 2002
an order was placed with INEKON for their 01 TRIO model. 1509 was built by ČKD in Prague in 1989 as a single ended KT8D5, 8-axle articulated tram. KT8D5 1509 on line 2 near Dul Hlubina tram stop on Wednesday June 29th, 2005. |
