Ostrava tram system runs on standard gauge tracks and there are 15 routes
numbered between 1 & 19. All cars in service prior to 1997 were Tatras
built by ČKD when some low floor Škoda Astras were purchased and in 2002
an order was placed with INEKON for their 01 TRIO model. 1118 was built by ČKD in Prague as type T6A5 in 1995. T6A5 1118 at the Dul Hlubina tram stop, with the Vítkovice steelworks in the background, on Wednesday June 29th, 2005. |
