Miskolc retains 2 tram lines from a previously larger system. Both lines 1
& 2 share the route from the city centre to the station. The lines are standard gauge. Approximately a year after these photos were taken, Miskolc retired all of their FVV
(Bengali) trams leaving the service in the hands of second-hand Tatra
KT8D5 trams from Kosice (SK) & Most (CZ) and some late 1960s built
ex-Vienna class E1s.
214 is a Czech built Tatra KT8D5CS 8-axle 3-section articulated tram originally built for Most (CZ) and numbered 319. KT8D5CS 214 traveling along Baross Gábor út at the intersection of Tuzér út approaching Miskolc Tiszai station on Friday October 24th, 2003. |
