Miskolc retains 2 tram lines from a previously larger system. Both lines 1
& 2 share the route from the city centre to the station. The lines are standard gauge. Approximately a year after these photos were taken, Miskolc retired all of their FVV
(Bengali) trams leaving the service in the hands of second-hand Tatra
KT8D5 trams from Kosice (SK) & Most (CZ) and some late 1960s built
ex-Vienna class E1s.
210 is a Czech built Tatra KT8D5CS 8-axle 3-section articulated tram originally built for Most (CZ) where it was numbered 315. It was acquired by Miskolc in January 1996. KT8D5CS 210 departs from the station on Friday October 24th, 2003 while working on route 1. |
