Miskolc retains 2 tram lines from a previously larger system. Both lines 1
& 2 share the route from the city centre to the station. The lines are standard gauge. Approximately a year after these photos were taken, Miskolc retired all of their FVV
(Bengali) trams leaving the service in the hands of second-hand Tatra
KT8D5 trams from Kosice (SK) & Most (CZ) and some late 1960s built
ex-Vienna class E1s.
200 is a Czech built Tatra KT8D5CS 8-axle 3-section articulated tram originally built for Kosice (SK) and numbered 539. KT8D5CS 200 departing from Miskolc Tiszai station on Friday October 24th, 2003. |
