Miskolc retains 2 tram lines from a previously larger system. Both lines 1
& 2 share the route from the city centre to the station. The lines are standard gauge. Approximately a year after these photos were taken, Miskolc retired all of their FVV
(Bengali) trams.
Tram 162 is a HCS-10a type articulated tram built by Fővárosi Villamos Vasutak of Budapest in February 1976 (withdrawn in April 2004) and 214 is a Czech built Tatra KT8D5CS built for Most (CZ) as number 539 and acquired by Miskolc in October 1990. FVV 162 on line 2 and Tatra KT8D5CS 214 on line 1 wait in the snow at Miskolc Tiszai station on Friday October 24th, 2003. |
