Budapest has an extensive system of trams lines numbered between 1 and 69 with gaps due to line closings over the years.
The lines are standard gauge. Link to the

Bécsi út terminus is the northerly end of line 1 and the connection with line 17. Line 1 runs with 3 Tatra T5C5K units coupled together and 4127 is the lead unit of the left hand set and 4073 is the lead unit on the centre track. Ganz 1310 can be seen to the right of the photo as a reserve unit for line 17. Photographed on Saturday October 25th, 2003. |
