3750 at Ferenc korut

Budapest has an extensive system of trams lines numbered between 1 and 69 with gaps due to line closings over the years. The lines are standard gauge.
6-axle tram 3750 (built in July 1988) is an experimental prototype designed by Budapest Transit which incorporated a number of features that they wanted in future tram cars. There were no production versions built and it remains unique. It is classified at the Hungaroplan type. It seats 28 passengers with room for 145 standees. The tram is used on short route 30A.

3750 waits at Ferenc körút on Friday April 30th, 2004. The track on the right provides a connection from line 30 to lines 4 & 6 running at right angles in the background.
