Budapest has an extensive system of trams lines numbered between 1 and 69 with gaps due to line closings over the years.
The lines are standard gauge. Link to the

surplus cars for sale. These were of type TW6000 built between 1974 &
1993 for street and high speed reserved trackage. 1529 entered service in Hannover in 1977 and in October 2001 went into service in Budapest. TW6000 number 1529 waits with route 50 services at Kispest, Határ út on Saturday October 25th, 2003. |
