The R3.3 type trams in Munich are numbered 2201-2200 and were built by Adtranz between 1999 & 2001. They are 8 axle 4-section low-floor articulated trams of type GT8N. There is only 1 powered axle in each of the 4 bogies with a wheel arrangement of  1A+A1+1A+A1 and a total rating of 400 kW, 536 hp. They seat 73 passengers with room for 145 standees.
