Dresden's tram system has a track gauge of 1450mm (about ½ inch wider
than standard gauge) with 12 lines. Dresden has 58 of these modernized
Tatra B4D trailers (Beiwagen) in their fleet. This trailer was built in 1973 by CKD Tatra and numbered 272 314-7. It was modernized in September 1994 and reclassified B4D-MS and renumbered to 274 048-6. Dresden B4D-Ms number 274 048 has just departed from the Dresden Neustadt Bahnhof tram stop with a line 6 service to Bahnhof Mitte & Postplatz on Thursday May 8th, 2003. Power is provided by T4D-MT 224 255. |
