The OEG (Oberrheinische Eisenbahngesellschaft AG) runs from Heidelberg to
Mannheim. OEG (Upper Rhine Railway) was sold to the city of Mannheim and
acts as an interurban line on route number 5/5R. Track gauge is 1 metre. Düwag GT8 trams of series 98-110 were built from 1973 to 1974. These are non-air-conditioned bi-directional cars which are capable of running in multiple with any of the 3 other Düwag series. OEG 103 heads away from the Mannheim Hauptbahnhof with a 5R service in the early evening of Thursday April 22nd, 2004. |
