Vienna's tram system is standard gauge and has 32 lines numbered between 1
& 71 as well as 4 alpha routes (D, J, N, O). Link to their German language website (tourist information
available in English & Italian). ULF trams are low floor multi-segmented trams built by SGP and 615 is one of the longer "B" types with 7 sections. It has 8 individually powered axles with the a lead and rear axle in the end sections and an axle in each of the gray body sections. The tram is rated at 528 kW, 708 hp with a top speed of 70 km/h, 43 mph and seats 77 passengers. 615 was built in March 1999. ULF-B tram 615 with a number 6 service approaching the stop at the Westbahnhof. |
