Linz has an extensive trolleybus service. Link
to the Linz Public Transport Network. In 1998, Linz ordered a fleet of
3 axle, low-floor articulated trolleybuses from Volvo of Poland. They are
classified as model B7LA and have 47 seats and room for 92 standees. They
collect 600 volt DC from the overhead and are rated at 172 kW (230hp) for continuous
operation to produce a top speed of 70 km/h, 44 mph. Volvo B7LA number 210 with service 46 to Hafen is running along the Kärntnerstrasse past the Hauptbahnhof on Wednesday September 25th, 2002.. |
