The tram network of Graz consists of 7 routes numbered 1, 3 through 8. The
system is standard gauge and runs on 600 volts. Tram 501 was part of an
order of 10 cars (501-510) built by SGP based upon a standard Düwag 8
axle design from Duisburg. The cars were delivered between January &
November 1978. They are rated at 300 kW, 402 hp and seat 52 passengers.
Graz 501 was working on line 7 on Wednesday October 22nd, 2003 along the Eggenberger Straße near the Hauptbahnhof. |
