ÖBB 1141 Electric Locomotive. There were 30 members of class 1141 built from
1955 onwards as a higher speed version of class 1041. These are Bo-Bo locomotives rated at
2480 kW, 3325 hp and have a top speed of 110 km/h, 68 mph. This locomotive was built by SGP in Graz in January 1957 (serial 56361) with AEGU electrics and was originally numbered 1141.20. It was withdrawn from service in December 2003. ÖBB 1141 020-6 in platform 2a at Selzthal with train R3565 (12:25 to Kleinreifling) on Wednesday October 22nd, 2003. Photographed from IC515. |
