The ÖBB Class 1116 locomotives were built by Siemens
in 1999 to operate on the DB & ÖBB systems at 15,000 V ac and in
Hungary at 25,000 V ac. There were
a total of 350 built. They ride on Bo-Bo trucks, the locos are rated at 6400 kW, 8580 hp,
weigh
