Class 1042 were built from 1963 until 1977. These are Bo-Bo locomotives rated at
3260 kW, 4370 hp and have a top speed of 130 km/h, 80 mph. They weigh 84 metric
tonnes, 92.6 US tons. 1042 036-2 with a log train recently exchanged with the Zillertalbahn at Jenbach on Monday September 23rd, 2002. The loco works of the Z-Bahn can be seen to the right. |
