ÖBB 1042 Electric Locomotive. Class 1042 were built from 1963 until 1977.  These are Bo-Bo locomotives rated at 3260 kW, 4370 hp and have a top speed of 130 km/h, 80 mph. They weigh 84 metric tonnes, 92.6 US tons.

ÖBB class 1042 electrics are not push-pull fitted which requires 1042 035-4 to run around its train in platform 2a at Innsbruck on Thursday September 20th, 2001 before departing with train R5348 (15:46 to Otztal).
