ÖBB Class 1142 were modified from class 1042 from 1995 onwards by
fitting of push-pull equipment and raising the maximum speed. These are Bo-Bo locomotives rated at
4000 kW, 5360 hp and have a top speed of 150 km/h, 93 mph. They weigh 82.5 metric
tonnes. Push-pull fitted 1142 633-5 on a southbound freight working at Wörgl at 17:25 on Thursday September 20th, 2001. |
