ÖBB Class 1142 were modified from class 1042 from 1995 onwards by the
fitting of push-pull equipment, and raising the top speed. These are Bo-Bo locomotives rated at
4000 kW, 5360 hp and have a top speed of 150 km/h, 93 mph. They weigh 82.5 metric
tonnes. This loco was built by Simmering-Graz-Pauker in Graz (builder's number 70030) with electrical equipment from Siemens and entered service in September 1973 numbered 1042.621, in August 1998 it was rebuilt to class 1142 becoming 1142 621-0 1142 621-0 at Innsbruck yard on Friday September 27th, 2002.
