ÖBB 1099 Electric Locomotive. These 6600 V electric locomotives were designed  in 1911 for the Mariazellerbahn running south from St. Pölten. The track gauge is 760 mm ( 30 inch) and the locomotives are rated at 420kW, 563 hp with a top speed of 50 km/h, 31 mph. The locomotives ride on 2 6 wheel trucks fitted with side rods..
